Covid-19, European Commission proposes €1.4 million European Globalisation Adjustment Fund support for Spain

08/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission proposed on Monday 8 November to provide €1.4 million from the new European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) 2021-2027 (see EUROPE B12623A31) to support 320 workers made redundant due to the pandemic in the automotive sector in the region of Aragon, Spain. The total cost of the measures is estimated at €1.7 million, 85% of which will be covered by the EGF. The funds will help regional authorities to finance employment measures...
