European Parliament calls for a regional plan to manage fishing capacity in Black Sea

24/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday, 24 June, the European Parliament recommended a series of measures to ensure sustainable fishing in the Black Sea. The report by Ivo Hristov (S&D, Bulgaria) on the challenges and opportunities for the fishing sector in the Black Sea was adopted in plenary with 598 votes in favour, 3 against, and 92 abstentions. The European Parliament emphasises the need to further strengthen and deepen cooperation among all the littoral Black Sea countries...
