Second peace conference scheduled for 23 June in Berlin

01/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – The German Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday 1 June that the second round of the UN-sponsored Libya Peace Conference will be held in Berlin on 23 June. The participants - including the new Libyan transitional government - will take stock of the political transition in Libya since the previous conference on 19 January 2020 and “the next necessary steps towards a sustainable stabilisation”, the German Ministry said in a statement (see EUROPE...
