Petra Hielkema to chair European regulator EIOPA from 1 September

27/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 27 May, the Council of the European Union officially appointed Petra Hielkema of the Netherlands as the new head of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA). Her mandate will begin on 1 September for a period of 5 years, renewable once.
