Preparations are well underway for return to Strasbourg on 7 June for plenary session

On Thursday, 27 May, the European Parliament’s crisis management unit hashed out the arrangements for the plenary session that will start in Strasbourg on Monday, 7 June—the first of its kind since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in the spring of 2020.

The set objective is for one third of the European Parliament staff who normally travel to Strasbourg to actually do so. All meetings related to the plenary session will be able to be held in hybrid format from Strasbourg. In...
