21/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said, on Thursday 20 May, that his country will not ratify the agreement on a post-Cotonou partnership sealed at the end of 2020 between the European Union and 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (OACPS) (see EUROPE B12616A7). “All our proposals were swept aside. So, certainly, we will not sign this agreement”, he told Reuters, saying that the agreement was likely to increase migration to the EU. (MB)
