EU Solidarity Fund, European Parliament approves aid for 17 Member States and 3 candidate countries

19/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – As part of the combat against the effects of the pandemic, MEPs approved (675 votes to 8, 13 abstentions), on Tuesday 18 May, the mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund to the tune of €397.5 million for 17 Member States (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania and Spain). and 3 candidate countries (Albania, Montenegro and Serbia)....
