EESC calls on EU institutions and civil society to unite against energy poverty

23/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) called for a coalition of all EU institutions and civil society organisations on Tuesday 20 April to tackle energy poverty, a problem exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. “This is a unique moment to take coordinated action on climate neutrality, crisis recovery and social cohesion.
