23/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – In response to increasing humanitarian needs in the Horn of Africa, the Commission announced on 23 April 149 million euros in emergency aid for vulnerable populations in the region. The funds will finance humanitarian projects in Somalia (42.5 million euros), Djibouti (500,000 euros), Kenya (14 million euros), Sudan (52 million euros) and Uganda (32 million euros).
