Formal adoption of regulation to remove terrorist content online within 1 hour

16/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – The Council of the EU formally adopted on Tuesday 16 March the Regulation on combating the dissemination of terrorist content online, which aims to remove such content from the Internet quickly. The rules will apply to hosting service providers offering services in the EU, whether or not they have their principal place of business in the Member States.
