Conference on Future of Europe, political agreement in EU Council on draft interinstitutional declaration

The ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) approved without modification, on Wednesday 3 March, the draft interinstitutional declaration submitted to them on Monday by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU (see EUROPE B12668A8).

“What was presented on Monday was approved today”, a diplomatic source confirmed. A written procedure is under way, with a view to formal adoption by the end of the week.
