Just Transition Mechanism, first warm-up round for European co-legislators on third pillar

Brussels, 29/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament and the Portuguese Presidency of the EU Council met for the first time on Tuesday 26 January to discuss the Public Sector Loan Facility (PSLF), the third pillar of the Just Transition Fund(see EUROPE B12495A6). The co-legislators presented their respective positions and points for discussion, including the objectives of the instrument, budgetary issues, eligibility conditions, and the principle of retroactivity.
