20/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament team responsible for preparing a report on the proposed revision of the European Union Regulation (347/2013) on Trans-European Energy Networks (TEN-E) has been created (see EUROPE 12623/3). It will be led by the Polish MEP Zdzisław Krasnodębski (ECR), who has been appointed rapporteur. He will be supported by six shadow rapporteurs, Tom Berendsen (EPP, The Netherlands), Łukasz Kohut (S&D, Poland), Claudia Gamon (Renew Europe, Austria), Paolo Borchia (ID, Italy), Marie Toussaint (Greens/EFA, France) and Elena Kountoura (The Left Party, Greece). On 18 March, a discussion regarding the timetable will take place between the members of the Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE). The draft report will be presented to the ITRE Committee on 13 April and voted on 15 July (with tabling of amendments by 27 April). The date for the vote in the European Parliament’s plenary session has not yet been set. (DG)
