European Parliament and EU Council reach agreement on European Globalisation Adjustment Fund

16/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament and the German Presidency of the EU Council reached an agreement on the Regulation on the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) late in the afternoon of Wednesday 16 October. One of the last points of negotiation was the threshold of workers made redundant from which the European Fund could be applied for and the reference period chosen (see EUROPE B12623A31). EUROPE will continue to follow this story. (PH)
