Agreement between EU institutions on EU4Health programme

Representatives of the European Parliament, the EU Council and the European Commission reached an interim agreement on Monday 14 December on the European Health Programme EU4Health. The text includes the idea of providing stocks of medicines as well as replacement medical staff in case of a crisis. It also plans to set aside at least 20% of the budget for disease prevention and health promotion.
