03/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what we stated in our article dated 29 October (see EUROPE B12592A10), the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) did not approve the opening of inter-institutional negotiations with the EU Council on the adjustments to be made to the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) to promote post-Covid-19 economic recovery.
