15/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 September, MEPs confirmed in plenary session the appointment of Klaus Löber as head of the new Central Counterparty Supervisory Committee (CCP) of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) by 546 votes to 34, with 107 abstentions. Selected by the ESMA Board of Supervisors, Klaus Löber has 25 years of experience in the financial sector and is currently head of the Oversight Division at the European Central Bank (ECB). On the same...
