EU Council plans to call on Commission to present a legislative proposal for integration of electricity market

A provisional document of the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union calls on the European Commission to prepare a legislative proposal that addresses the obstacles to the integration of the electricity market and the offshore wind energy grid at EU level. This document, which was sent to Member States on Monday 31 August, is a draft set of conclusions for the next meeting of EU energy ministers.
