In an opinion (4/2020) published on Tuesday 14 July, the European Court of Auditors highlights a certain degree of “tension” between the aim of the REACT-EU proposal created by the European Commission at the end of the health crisis of providing funding as swiftly as possible and the objective of making the funding available where it is most needed.
