‘Climate Law’, Committee of Regions calls for regional and local perspective to be integrated into national adaptation plans

At its plenary session on Thursday 2 July, the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) adopted the opinion of Juan Manuel Moreno (EPP, Spain), President of the Region of Andalusia, on the proposed ‘Climate Law’ currently being discussed by the co-legislators.

In particular, the opinion calls for the regional and local perspective to be integrated into the development and implementation of Member States’ strategies and plans for adapting to climate change.
