The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, and the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, welcomed on Wednesday 3 June the formation of a new government in Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.
After the collapse of the coalition government in March (see EUROPE B12455A35), the Constitutional Court ruled on Thursday 28 May that a new government could be formed without going through a vote by ballot.
