COVID-19, Mr Azevêdo calls for notification of trade-related measures

25/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – Roberto Azevêdo, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), called on Tuesday 24 March for WTO members to be transparent about their trade measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic. He called on them to provide the WTO with information on these measures – such as the provisions adopted by the European Commission to make the export of medical equipment subject to authorisation (see EUROPE B12451A7, B12447A7).
