On Tuesday 24 March, French MEP Anne Sander (EPP, France) asked the European Commission for a series of measures to help the agricultural sector in the current context of the coronavirus pandemic. 

The day before the ministerial videoconference meeting (see EUROPE B12451A14), MEPs wrote to Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture, asking for a response combining traditional market management tools (private storage aid measures) and exceptional measures.
