European Court of Auditors will publish a report in 2021 on effectiveness of EU's measures to combat disinformation

On Tuesday 17 March, the European Court of Auditors announced that it was preparing a report to be published in 2021 on the measures the EU has implemented to combat disinformation.

In the new report, the auditors will first look at the EU action plan to combat disinformation (see EUROPE B12416A3). They will assess its relevance and the results achieved so far. They will also look into the setting up of the early warning system (see EUROPE B12153A8) envisaged as part of this plan.
