EU/Vietnam Free Trade Agreement to be adopted at Home Affairs Council

12/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 13 March, at the Justice and Home Affairs Council, ministers will adopt without debate the EU Council decision on the conclusion of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (see EUROPE B12424A3). As a reminder, a second agreement, on investment protection and containing an investment court system ('ICS'), is going directly to the Member States for ratification before its entry into force.
