Lgnacio Villanueva Serrano new commander of Atalanta force

12/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – Spanish Rear Admiral Ignacio Villanueva Serrano was appointed by Political and Security Committee (PSC) ambassadors on Thursday 12 March as the new Force Commander for the EU’s EUNAVFOR Atalanta naval operation. His term of office will begin on 17 March.
