Appointment of two new Directors-General in DG FISMA and DG HR

04/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission decided, on Wednesday 4 March, to appoint John Berrigan from Ireland as Director-General of DG Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (FISMA), effective immediately. In addition, Ms Gertrud Ingestad, a Swedish national, has been appointed Director-General of DG Human Resources and Security (DG HR), effective as of 16 March 2020.
