EU council extends mandate of six EU special representatives

On Tuesday 25 February, the Council of the EU extended the mandates of six EU special representatives (EUSRs).

The mandate of Nataliya Apostolova (Bulgaria) as EUSR in Kosovo has been extended by six months up to 31 August 2020. She has been in post since August 2016.

The mandate of Susanna Terstal (Netherlands), the EUSR for the Middle East Peace Process since September 2018, has been extended for a further 12 months up to 28 February 2021.
