13/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – Alok Sharma, who was previously UK Minister for International Development, will chair COP26, hosted in Glasgow in November, the UK government announced on Thursday 13 February. He will replace former Energy Minister Claire Perry O'Neill, who stepped down in January, as head of the UN climate conference. Alok Sharma was appointed Minister of Enterprise, Energy and Growth in a cabinet shuffle by Boris Johnson. (AN)
