27/01/2020 (Agence Europe) – The Council of the EU adopted without debate, on Monday 27 January, the legal acts on total allowable catches (TACs) and quotas for 2020 in Atlantic waters, the Channel and the North Sea (see EUROPE B12393A14). Discussions had been lengthy this year because of the very limited cod fishing arrangements in the Celtic Sea waters.
