MEPs endorse a partial renewal of Court members

MEPs of the European Parliament's Committee on Budgetary Control endorsed, on Tuesday 12 November, the EU Council's proposals to appoint several members of the EU Court of Auditors (two new members and three mandates renewed).

The new French member of the Court of Auditors, François-Roger Cazala, was backed by 20 votes in favour, 3 against and 1 abstention. He has been a long-standing member of the French Court of Auditors.
