The European Parliament gave the go-ahead on Thursday 10 October by a very large majority (583 votes in favour, 18 against and 51 abstentions) for a cooperation agreement between the European Judicial Cooperation Agency, Eurojust, and Denmark.
The favourable opinion, drawn up by Juan Fernando López Aguilar (S&D, Spain), on the draft EU Council implementing decision on this cooperation agreement was adopted without modification, in contrast to the vote in the parliamentary committee.
