EU extends chemical weapons sanctions regime by one year

25/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – EU Member States decided, by a decision of their ambassadors on Wednesday 25 September, to extend by one year the regime of restrictive measures against the use and proliferation of chemical weapons, imposed on 15 October 2018 (see EUROPE B12117A16). Nine people - Russian and Syrian - and one entity have been on this list since January 2019 (see EUROPE B12176A5). (CG)
