23/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Monday 23 September that it would conduct a review on the expiry of the anti-dumping measures applicable to imports of ammonium nitrate originating in Russia. As the anti-dumping measures on imports of Russian ammonium nitrate expire on 25 September 2019, the Commission received a request last June for a review of these measures from Fertilizers Europe, on behalf of producers representing more than 25% of the EU's ammonium nitrate production. The Commission concluded that it should be examined whether the expiry of the measures would be likely to result in the continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the EU industry.
