Greens/EFA want to add a debate in European Parliament's plenary following new revelations of fraud on Volkswagen emissions

12/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Greens/EFA group announced on Thursday 12 September that it would like to ask next Monday to add a debate on 'Dieselgate' to the agenda of the plenary session, following the revelations made by the Südwestrundfunk. According to the German media, the new Euro 6 diesel engines of Volkswagen, the manufacturer behind the Dieselgate scandal (see EUROPE B11394A2), are also equipped with a device that would detect whether the car is subject to a laboratory test...
