According to UNCTAD, a no-deal Brexit would cost British exporters “at least” €14.5 billion

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is concerned about the impact of Brexit on UK exporters if they leave the EU without an agreement and if London does not renew all EU bilateral free trade agreements (FTAs).

In a study published on Tuesday 3 September, UNCTAD brought these risks for the British economy to light.

Its authors estimate that a no-deal Brexit would cost British exporters “at least” $16 billion - or €14.5 billion - with particularly acute losses...
