European Parliament Committee approves mobilising €300 million from EU Solidarity Fund

The European Parliament's Committee on Budgets approved on Tuesday 3 September proposals to release a total of almost €300 million in aid in 2019 after floods in Italy (277.2 million), Romania (8.1 million) and Austria (8.1 million) in summer and October 2018.

The Committee on Budgets accepted the proposal mobilising this aid from the EU Solidarity Fund, as well as the Draft Amending Budget (for 2019) accompanying this decision.
