EU announces €14.9 million in new support for hospitals in East Jerusalem

29/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Office of the EU Representative to the West Bank and Gaza Strip announced on Monday 29 July a contribution of €14.9 million from the EU and two Member States to the Palestinian Authority to help pay for medical consultations in hospitals in East Jerusalem. Out of these funds, EUR 13 million was from the EU budget, 1 million from the Italian government and EUR 900,000 from its Finnish counterpart.
