General Court of EU confirms a Commission decision on a cartel concerning optical disk drives

The Judges of the General Court of the European Union confirmed, in a judgment of Friday 12 July in Joined Cases T-762/15, T-763/15, T-772/15, T-1/16 and T-8/16, a decision of the European Commission of 21 October 2015 finding a cartel on the market for optical disk drives. 

The institution's decision fined Sony Corporation, Sony Electronics Inc., Sony Optiarc Inc., Quanta Storage Inc., Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc., Hitachi-LG Data Storage Korea Inc., Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology...
