EU trade defence rules now applied to continental shelves and EEZs

04/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – The EU is extending trade defence rules to continental shelves and exclusive economic zones (EEZs) of Member States, the European Commission announced on Wednesday 3 July. From next November, the EU's trade defence rules will also apply to goods transported to the continental shelf or European exclusive economic zones - no longer only to goods imported into the EU's customs territory. This new customs tool, developed in collaboration with the customs...
