Confidentiality - EDPB plans to look at connected cars

24/05/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) intends to work on internet-connected cars over the next two years. This was announced on Friday 24 May, in response to a letter from MEP Sophie In't Veld (ALDE), which was also addressed to the European Commission. In this letter, the Dutchwoman expressed concern that much personal data related to connected mobility are shared “without explicit, specific and informed consent, and without an adequate legal basis”....
