First conclusive assessment of pilot project to assist regions and Member States in industrial transition

08/05/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 8 May, the European Commission presented the first results of its pilot projects to support ten regions and two Member States engaged in a phase of industrial transition (see EUROPE B11976A29). The results would be conclusive, the Commission estimated, recalling that these territories are set to receive European aid of around €90 billion under the post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework.
