Electric cars, ACEA calls for massive investment in charging station infrastructure

05/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) launched an appeal on Friday 5 April to significantly increase investment in infrastructure to enable the development of alternative vehicles. There are some 150,000 public charging points for electric cars in the European Union, the organisation explains. However, according to it, at least 2.8 million terminals will be needed by 2030.
