MEPs approve new regulation on labelling of spirit drinks

13/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 13 March, the European Parliament approved the text of the new Regulation on the definition, description, presentation and labelling of spirit drinks (see EUROPE B12156A22). The text specifies that ethyl alcohol and distillates used for the production of spirit drinks are exclusively of agricultural origin.
