The ongoing procedure for the appointment of the Head of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (see EUROPE B12198A7) was not officially on the agenda of the meeting of European Ministers of Justice on Friday 8 March. However, the subject ignited the press conference given at the end of the Justice Council.
