06/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 5 March, David Kaye, the United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression, and Harlem Désir, media freedom representative for the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, published an analysis of the whistleblowers directive that is currently under negotiation (see EUROPE 12207, 12203) in which they expressed a number of fears.
