The Member States' ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) appointed three judges on Wednesday 6 March, one to the EU Court of Justice and two to the EU Court.
Austrian Andreas Kumin took up his duties as a judge of the Court for a term of office running until 6 October 2024. His appointment completes the partial replacement of the Court after the expiry in autumn 2018 of the terms of office of 14 judges and 5 advocates-general.
