CAN Europe welcomes MEPs' call to raise the EU's target to 55% reduction in emissions by 2030

21/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 20 February, CAN Europe welcomed the vote of the European Parliament Environment Committee that called on the EU to raise its 2030 target for reducing greenhouse gas emissions to 55% in order to reach zero net emissions by 2050 at the latest.
