Effective tax rates (ETRs) of multinationals are well below nominal tax rates in most EU countries, reveals a study published by the European Parliament's Greens/EFA Group on Tuesday 22 January.
According to this study, multinationals are taxed in the EU at an average effective rate of only 15%, well below the average of the nominal tax rates of 23%.
