Member States' representatives to EU approve Cybersecurity Act

20/12/2018 (Agence Europe) – Member States' ambassadors to the European Union approved the Cybersecurity Act on Wednesday 19 December. This act, designed to protect Europe against online attacks, was the subject of an interinstitutional agreement on 10 December (see EUROPE 12157). The Regulation will create a mechanism for setting up European cybersecurity certification schemes for specific ICT processes, products and services.
